HELP FILES.
Twice each year, the change from or to Day Light Savings Time can be bothersome if your system does not get updated. The display on your phone will be off by an hour, voicemail messages may be stamped with the wrong time, but more importantly, if you use Automatic Day and Night Mode settings, they may be changing at the wrong time, affecting your incoming or outgoing calls.

Some of the more recent Panasonic systems are able to make the time change automatically, but many of the older systems need to have the time manually set.

Even some of the newer TDA systems may need adjusting due to the changes in the national DST standards.

In order to program the time setting, you will need to know the model of your phone system. If you are not sure which system you have, please see the chart “Panasonic Phone ID” under the help file section.

Programming the phone system time usually has to be done from phone extension 101, or a special manager phone if one has been assigned.

Voicemail systems also have a clock that may need to be set. They can be programmed from any phone, but you must be able to dial into the “Message Manger’s Mailbox” or the “System Administrator’s Mailbox” (and know your system password) to do so. Some of the more recent systems will be able to update their clock by automatically synchronizing with the phone system.
